For small teams on one domain.
- Mailboxes and role addresses
- Webmail with calendar and contacts
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up and checked
- Two-step sign-in and app passwords
- Migration of your existing mail
Business email, configured for you
Mail on your own domain, set up the way your team works. We create the mailboxes, write and check the DNS records, and copy your old mail across before anything switches. Outlook, Apple Mail and your phones keep working as they are.
v=spf1 mx -allown key per domainp=quarantinemail copied, old keptswitched lastEvery line is checked before mail starts flowing.
The big suites sell email as one seat in an office bundle, priced per person. Budget hosts hand you an empty mailbox and a help article about DNS. Either way, the parts that decide whether your mail arrives are left to you.
Missing or misaligned SPF, DKIM and DMARC is still the usual cause. Gmail, Yahoo and Microsoft now require all three from bulk senders, and treat unauthenticated mail with suspicion.
Folders go missing, or mail bounces in the hours while MX records change. So teams stay where they are.
info@, billing@, a shared inbox. Per-user pricing makes each one another monthly charge.
We hand over a working mail system with your old mail already inside, set up around the addresses your team actually uses.
Four areas we set up for each domain, so nothing is left at the defaults by accident. Authentication, migration and security have their own sections below.
Every address your team needs on your own domain: role addresses, aliases, domain aliases, catch-all and disposable addresses, with Sieve filters on top.
Mailbox sizes, spam thresholds and quarantine rules set per domain. Adding a second brand later doesn’t mean starting over.
IMAP, SMTP and POP3 for any mail app. Calendars and contacts sync over CalDAV and CardDAV, and we hand over the exact server settings for every app you use.
A clean, branded sign-in and webmail at app.thefridaymail.com, with calendar and contacts, in any browser.
No provider can promise the inbox, and we won’t either. What we can do is remove the most common reason business mail lands in spam: authentication that is missing or out of line.
All four are set up and checked for every domain we host.
Names the servers allowed to send for your domain and ends in -all, so everything else fails.
Each domain gets its own signing key, so receivers can tell the message is yours and unaltered.
Tells receivers what to do with mail that fails, and reports who is sending in your name.
Points incoming mail for your domain to our servers. We switch it last, after migration has copied everything over.

You tell us what you have and approve the plan. Nothing changes before that.
You
Domains, team size and where your mail lives today. A few lines to hello@thefridaymail.com is enough.
Us
Addresses, aliases, quotas, spam rules and who manages what. You approve it first.
Us
Mailboxes created, DNS records written and checked. Manage DNS yourself? We send the exact records.
Us
Server to server over IMAP, then a final sync just before the switch.
Us
MX changes last, once the new mailboxes are filled and checked. Webmail and your mail apps are ready when it does.
Teams stay with providers they’ve outgrown because moving looks risky. Here is exactly what happens: a first copy, a second pass for anything that arrived late, and the MX switch only once the new mailboxes are filled and checked.
Mail is copied over IMAP with folders included. Nothing is removed from the old account.
We can bring them across as standard ICS and vCard files.
| Mailbox | 1First copy | 2Delta sync | 3MX switch and after |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your old mailbox | Receives mail as usual | Kept as it was, nothing deleted | |
| Your new mailbox | Existing mail copied over IMAP | Late arrivals synced | Receives mail |
One of the two mailboxes is always receiving, so there is no gap to fall into.
For agencies and multi-brand teams
Running several brands, or looking after mail for clients? Each domain gets its own DKIM key, policies and aliases, managed from one place. Give a client domain admin access and they manage their own addresses, and only theirs. Bringing a new client across? We run the migration.
No charges for office apps or AI add-ons you won’t use. Storage and how much mail needs moving go into the quote too.

We do the setup. SPF, DKIM and DMARC are written and checked, your addresses and per-domain policies are set to fit your team, and your old mail is moved across. Your people then sign in at app.thefridaymail.com or keep using the mail apps they already have.
Mail is copied server to server over IMAP, folders included, and we never delete the old mailbox. A delta sync picks up new arrivals, and MX records change last. Calendars and contacts can come across as standard ICS and vCard files.
No provider can guarantee the inbox. The most common cause of spam-foldering is missing or misaligned authentication, so every domain gets SPF (-all), its own DKIM key and DMARC, the set Gmail, Yahoo and Microsoft now require from bulk senders.
Yes. We use standard IMAP, SMTP and POP3, and Outlook and Thunderbird can configure themselves from your address. Calendars and contacts sync over CalDAV and CardDAV, and webmail works in any browser.
Yes. Each domain has its own DKIM key and policies, and domain aliases are supported. Agencies can give a client domain admin access limited to that client’s domain.
Two-step sign-in with TOTP or a WebAuthn/FIDO2 key, app passwords for mail clients, spam filtering with quarantine, virus scanning and TLS-encrypted connections.
No. The domain is yours and everything runs on open standards. You can export your mail over IMAP at any time, and calendars and contacts as ICS and vCard files.
There are no seat charges for office apps or AI add-ons. Pricing depends on mailboxes, domains, storage and migration scope. Write to hello@thefridaymail.com with your team size and current provider for a quote.
Configured once. Quiet ever after.
Send a few lines to hello@thefridaymail.com: how many people, which domains, and where your email lives today. We’ll come back with a plan and a quote. No forms, and no sales call unless you want one.
